Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC)

Also known as a tote, IBC tote, or IBC tank. A pallet-mounted, industrial-grade reusable container used for transportation and storage of liquids, pastes, semi-solids, and solids. The two most common totes are the composite 275-gallon and 330-gallon (1,040 and 1,250 liters) tanks made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), surrounded by a galvanized steel cage. They feature integrated pallet bases with dimensions near the common pallet standard size of 48” x 40” (1,219 mm × 1,016 mm).
