ALADI (Latin American Integration Association)

ALADI (Latin American Integration Association), or Asociación Latinoamericana de Integración, is an intergovernmental organization that promotes trade harmonization and economic integration among its 13 Latin American member countries.

Headquartered in Montevideo, Uruguay, ALADI’s primary objective is the long-term establishment of a Latin American common market. Its members include major regional economies such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.

The association functions as a framework for member countries to grant one another preferential trade terms, primarily through reduced tariffs that are not extended to non-member nations.
